Are Sandals Resorts kid-friendly?
As a Sandals Travel Agent, I’m often asked, “Are Sandals Resorts kid-friendly?” or “Which Sandals Resorts are kid-friendly?” Today, I am going to answer those questions. Let’s get right to it: Are Sandals Resorts kid-friendly? No. But don’t leave just yet! Sandals Resorts is adults-only, but its sister company, Beaches Resorts, is completely family-friendly! I have another blog post with all the Sandals Resorts Locations, and another with the Sandals Resorts that are closest to the airport if you want to maximize your vacation time.
Which Sandals Resorts are kid-friendly?
So, let’s talk about Beaches Resorts! Beaches Resorts is Sandals’ family-friendly brand. It is also all-inclusive, with extras that you might not get at a normal all-inclusive. Plus, it’s autism certified! Childcare is available from 9 AM to 9 PM for adults who need alone time, and nannies are also available for an additional fee. There are only (currently) three Beaches Resorts located within the Caribbean. Those locations include Negril and Ocho Rios in Jamaica and Providenciales in Turks and Caicos.
Beaches Negril
Beaches Negril has been recently updated. All the rooms and suites offer the best amenities and gorgeous views. This beautiful resort is located directly on 7-Mile Beach. The sun, sand, and water are only steps from your room. Like all Beaches Resorts, Beaches Negril has a waterpark that the entire family will enjoy!
Beaches Ocho Rios
Beaches Ocho Rios is the most budget-friendly Beaches Resort. It is not quite as nice as the other two, but it does come with one big perk! Beaches Ocho Rios offers a championship golf course.
Beaches Turks and Caicos
When you drive up to Beaches Turks and Caicos, you will feel as if you have traveled somewhere other than the Caribbean. This resort is divided into five villages. Those villages were designed to look like Key West, the Caribbean, Italy, and France. I have a full post with Everything You Need to Know About Beaches Turks and Caicos so make sure to check it out!
Which Beaches Resort is best?
Beaches Turks and Caicos is my favorite but is also slightly more expensive. Sometimes, you need to pay a little extra to get everything you want while on a fantastic vacation! Turks and Caicos is considered the best, Negril is in the middle, and Ochos Rios is more of a starter-level, more budget-friendly resort. Keep in mind that flights to Jamaica are almost always less than flights to Turks and Caicos. You can learn more about all of the Beaches Resorts here: Beaches Resorts Locations.
