Are Sandals the best all-inclusive resorts for honeymoons?
Planning your honeymoon can be a daunting task. There are so many resorts to choose from, and they all offer something different. As a Travel Agent for honeymoons, I know it’s hard to know where to start!
Well, today, we’re going to tell you about the top 5 reasons why Sandals Resorts are the best all-inclusive resorts for honeymoons. Whether you want seclusion, luxury-included amenities, food, or a beautiful tropical destination – Sandals has it all!
Best resorts for honeymoons
The amenities at Sandals Resorts are the best of the best. Sandals Resorts offers unlimited access to their restaurants and bars, which means you can eat and drink as much as you want. Club and Butler level rooms also have access to 24-hour room service, which most all-inclusive resorts do not offer.
Don’t forget to check out my post about the Sandals Resort locations to determine which Sandals is right for you. In the meantime, let’s learn why Sandals Resorts are the best all-inclusive resorts for honeymoons.
1. Luxury Included at Sandals Resorts
Sandals Resorts goes above and beyond all-inclusive with “luxury-included,” which includes: golf, water sports including motorized water sports, scuba diving, 24-hour gourmet cuisine, top-shelf liquor, and more.
Another best quality of Sandals Resorts is the incredible accommodations. From spacious rooms with private balconies to personal butlers at your disposal – you can’t go wrong!
I’ve had a few clients mention that they don’t love the look of some of the Sandals Resorts. The Jamaican-style mahogany isn’t for everyone but rest assured, there are a few Sandals Resorts with more modern rooms!
Sandals Royal Bahamian has gorgeous modern rooms, as do many other Sandals resorts.
Sandals Royal Barbados has a more modern feel, as does the Dutch Village at Sandals South Coast in Jamaica.
2. The suites at Sandals Resorts
I recommend choosing a club-level or butler-level suite for even more personalized services. However, any room and Sandals Resorts is a good room. I have an extensive post covering all of the differences in Luxury vs. Club vs. Butler rooms at Sandals Resorts.
Here is the shorter version, Sandals has three tiers:
Luxury
The luxury tier is the basic tier at Sandals Resorts, and it is still luxurious. If you’re on a budget but still want a fantastic vacation, the luxury tier is for you. It’s important to note that some resorts, such as Sandals Ochi, have club and butler level suites that are only slightly higher priced. I recommend choosing to do so if at all possible.
Club
The Club Level at Sandals Resorts offers even more amenities, including free room service, a designated check-in area, and a dedicated concierge.
Butler
If you want the best of the best, choose a Butler level room or suite. You can read all about what Butlers do and how it works here. If you are worried about privacy – don’t be! Butlers are there when you need them and just a quick call away when you don’t.
Select Butler suites even offer private pools!
Some of the most common Butler requests include:
- Breakfast in bed
- Poolside/beachside service
- Booking excursions/spa appointments/tee times/dining reservations (keeping your dietary preferences in mind!)
- Romantic dinner setup (on your balcony or elsewhere)
3. No tipping
And then there’s the best part about Sandals Resorts: all-inclusive pricing! Tipping is prohibited, and everything is included. You never worry about paying for anything from fine dining to motorized water sports to tips.
The one exception to this rule is that you can tip Butlers. The average is about $20/day. Of course, you can always tip more if you choose to do that. You can also tip for outside excursions as well as spa services. Tipping anywhere else in the resort is strictly forbidden.
4. Secluded setting
And lastly, Sandals Resorts are the best resorts for honeymoons because of their secluded settings. Whether you want to stay on a private beach or in lush foliage – there’s an all-inclusive resort perfect for your needs.
Sandals Resorts offers everything and more that you need during your time away from home. So, if you’re looking for the best resort for your honeymoon – look no further than Sandals Resorts!
Stunning Sandals South Coast is located on 500-acres in a nature preserve!
5. Sandals Resorts are couples-only
Sandals Resorts takes “adults-only” a step further by being the first resort for “couples only.”
This means that children are not allowed on the property, and there is more of a romantic atmosphere. You can have peace of mind knowing your honeymoon will be a stress-free getaway.
If you wonder how you can get married at Sandals if it’s couples only, that is a common question. Most couple who marry at Sandals will have their friends with children stay at a nearby Beaches resort. Also, Sandals sometimes make exceptions for weddings (say, if the mother and grandmother of the bride want to room together) to their couples-only policy.

Where are the Sandals Resorts located?
Sandals Resorts is located in six different countries – Jamaica, the Bahamas, Antigua, St. Lucia, Grenada, and Barbados. There’s a brand new resort coming in April 2022 in Curacao!

How ARE Sandals different from other all-inclusive resorts?
There are many all-inclusive resorts to choose from. Sandals Resorts offers amenities for adults only, which means children are not allowed on the property. This is an excellent option if you’re looking for peace of mind and an atmosphere that’s perfect for honeymooners – or even just couples in general!
Sandals aren’t the only adults-only resorts, but they take it a step further by offering services for couples only. Perfect for any honeymoon.
The Luxury Included policy also means that there’s no need for tipping anywhere on the property so that you can enjoy your stay without any worries. The one exception to this rule (as mentioned earlier) is that you’re allowed to tip Butlers in Butler suites, and you may tip at the spa.
And Sandals Resorts has a “no-hassle” guarantee – if anything goes wrong with your reservation, they’ll make it right!
Sandals Resorts offers unlimited access to restaurants and bars with no limits on food or drink. Their all-inclusive pricing is perfect for those who want everything included in their stay and don’t need to worry about tipping. The secluded settings of the resorts also make them an ideal honeymoon destination!
Sandals Resorts are also the perfect LGBT friendly honeymoon destinations.
