the Best Resorts in Turks and Caicos for Families
If you’re planning a family vacation in Turks and Caicos, you’re probably wondering about the best resorts in Turks and Caicos. Fortunately, I’ve compiled a list of the best family resorts in Turks and Caicos to make it easy for you!
Beaches Turks and Caicos
I talk a lot about Sandals and Beaches on this blog. I book a lot of honeymoons, so I blog a lot about Sandals, but Sandals’ sister property – Beaches Resorts – is also not to be missed.
There are currently three Beaches Resorts (check out the Beaches Resort locations here), and Beaches Turks and Caicos is easily considered the best of the three.
This Beaches Resort will be a favorite of the whole family. It is one of the only all-inclusive resorts on the islands. Kids of all ages will love the amenities and activities available.
Rooms at Beaches Turks and Caicos
The rooms at this inclusive family resort are spread between five sections. Those areas include the Caribbean and Seaside Villages, Italian Village, French Village, and Key West Village.
You won’t find full kitchens in these rooms. However, the 21 dining options will ensure you don’t need a kitchen. Just like Sandals Resorts, Beaches Resorts are luxury included, which means you’ll have access to even more than your typical all-inclusive resort.
Your kids will love the waterpark at Beaches Turks and Caicos. It is a 45,000-square-foot water park. There are water slides, pools, and a lazy river. Add the swim-up bars for adults and kids, and you may never want to leave the waterpark.
Although, older teens may eventually head over to the Xbox play lounge. And the younger kids will want to visit with the Sesame Street characters. I truly believe this is one of the Best Resorts in Turks and Caicos for Families, so if you have the budget for it, it’s my #1 recommendation.
There is a free shuttle service. So doing everything is possible without walking miles each day. Check out Beaches Turks and Caicos for current pricing and availability.

Now that we’ve discussed my favorite let’s talk about the other 15 best resorts in Turks and Caicos for families.
The Sands at Grace Bay
The Sands at Grace Bay can be found on Grace Bay Road. This beautiful resort has more than 100 suites perfect for families. Each suite offers direct access to the sand and water.
The concierge can help you plan your days. The options are almost endless. The most popular activities include swimming in three kid-friendly pools and family photography sessions. Snorkeling and diving are a hit with water enthusiasts.
Moms don’t need to feel left out, either. The mommy and me package at the spa is exactly what the doctor ordered for rest and relaxation.
Grace Bay Club
Grace Bay Club should not be confused with The Sands at Grace Bay. They are two different resorts in Turks and Caicos for families.
This luxurious all-suite resort can be found directly on the beach. All these suites are within the area designated as The Villas Suites. This is the family-friendly section of the resort.
There are multiple pools for swimming. Each day brings new activities too. Popular options include sunset cruises and snorkeling tours. Choose wisely so you don’t miss out on something exciting!
Oh, and don’t forget to check out the fitness center. It’s a wonderful place to get your workouts in.
Ocean Club Resorts
The Ocean Club Resort is actually two resorts in one. So you have Ocean Club West and Ocean Club East. One of the best things about staying at this Turks and Caicos resort is enjoying the amenities at both.
You will need to go between the two resorts to experience everything. But since the resorts are only a few minutes apart, it isn’t that difficult.
Ocean Club East is where you will find calm water at the famous Grace Bay Beach. This is also where the Provo Golf Club is located. Perfect if a family member or two wants to get a round of golf during the family vacation.
Ocean Club West offers different room categories. This is best if you need unique accommodations for your family. This is also the closest resort to all the on-site restaurants and stores. You will find the tennis courts on this side of the resort too.
Younger kids will love staying at either of these Ocean Club Resorts. The “seafari” kids club will be everything they have been dreaming about for a vacation.
Seven Stars Resort and Spa
The spacious guest rooms at this Caicos family resort are a great place to unwind and relax. However, when the kids let you anyway, you may need to send everyone to the kid’s camp for a couple of hours if you want a nap.
At Seven Stars Resort and Spa, you can always head over to the playground together when you are well-rested. Or swim in the main pool. Tennis and pickleball are options too. There are even basketball courts if you want to shoot some hoops.
Your favorite spot at this Caicos islands resort may be the spa. Schedule a few treatments and be pampered during your family vacation.
West Bay Club
Beach decor fills every large suite at the West Bay Club. You may feel like you could stay in your room the entire time. I definitely don’t recommend that!
After all, the soft, sandy beach will be waiting for your family! As is the massive family room where activities are held. Board games are available for families to play too.
Everyone will love the breakfast included every morning. Especially the parent who usually does the cooking and clean up. Other meals can be enjoyed at the on-site restaurants if you don’t feel like venturing too far from this resort.
Oh, and you may want an electronic-free vacation. Your kids won’t, though. In that case, the free wi-fi will come in handy. To tear them away from their devices, ensure they know about all the available water sports down at the white-sand beaches.
The Palms Turks and Caicos
Room accommodations at The Palms Turks and Caicos (considered by some as the best resort in Turks and Caicos) for families include one, two, and three-bedroom suites. Each room, including the junior suites, offers the best amenities.
A few of the amenities include babysitting services, access to an infinity pool, and boxed lunches. During the day, young children can even head over to the Conch Critter Club. It is the kids’ club at this Turks & Caicos resort.
When the kids are occupied, parents can unwind at the pool. The pool bar will ensure you never go thirsty.
Parents will want to take advantage of the babysitters at night. Moon bathing is a popular activity at this resort. You won’t want to miss out on the experience while the kids are fast asleep.
Alexandra Resort Providenciales
Plenty of room categories are available for families at this inclusive Turks and Caicos resort. This ensures you can find the perfect size for your family vacation.
At Alexandra Resort Providenciales, adults can enjoy some alone time while the kids are having fun with the Fun Pals program. Take advantage of the downtime. That way, you can thoroughly enjoy the family activities that come later on.
This is the sister resort to the Blue Haven Resort. This means you can enjoy all the amenities at Turks and Caicos resorts.
Blue Haven Resort
This resort has the same room category options as its sister resort above. In addition, dining options are plentiful between the Alexandra Resort Providenciales and Blue Haven Resort. Therefore, you should always be able to find something the kids will eat.
When you stay at these two sister resorts, take time to visit Sapodilla Bay Beach. It has the most shallow water of any beach in Turks and Caicos.
East Bay Resort
Another all-inclusive resort in Turks and Caicos is the East Bay Resort. This resort is in a convenient location on East Bay Beach. The spacious suites offer easy access to the beach and other amenities.
This is one of the best places to unwind and relax while having a few adventures. There is a great pool for swimming. Water activities are down by the beach. You can choose between diving, kayaking, snorkeling, and more. Palm trees can be seen swaying in the breeze during every activity you do.
You will love all the dining options here, especially when you are hungry and need to eat immediately.
Dragon Cay Resort
This best Turks and Caicos resort is located away from the hustle and bustle of Grace Bay Beach. Yet it is still one of the best resorts on the islands. The clear turquoise waters come up onto the most beautiful beaches.
All the villas at Dragon Cay Resort have full kitchens. So, while you must prepare most of your meals, it is easy to do. A little pre-planning will have meals on the table in no time!
Just make sure dinner is prepared early. You won’t want to miss the sunset from the sand.
Shore Club Turks and Caicos
This is one of the best family-friendly resorts on Turks and Caicos that isn’t on Grace Bay Beach. Instead, you will find this resort over in Long Bay Beach.
Larger families will want to take advantage of the villas for accommodations at Shore Club Turks and Caicos. The villas can fit up to 14 people. You probably won’t be in your room too much, though, so you might not appreciate all the space.
After all, your days will be full of snorkeling, riding Hobie Cats, and kayaking. Horseback riding is possible over in Long Bay Beach. Add a round of golf, swim in the on-site pools, and relax in a cabana, and your days will be complete.
Don’t worry; the on-site restaurants have you covered at mealtime. So you won’t need to travel far before getting the kids to bed after dinner.
Royal West Indies Resort
The Royal West Indies Resort is one of the best family resorts in Turks and Caicos. The entire family will love the beachfront location.
The concierge will ensure you can participate in all the activities you want to. I recommend starting with water skiing. Then do a little scuba diving before heading out on a submarine ride.
Northwest Point Resort
Northwest Point Resort can be found on the stunning Provo Island. The resort offers plenty of family-friendly entertainment and activities.
Every vacation at this popular destination can be customized. This is perfect if you want a family vacation that is slightly out of the ordinary.
I recommend heading out in a kayak or taking a catamaran ride. Diving, snorkeling, and hiking are other options.
Days down at the beach won’t be boring. Beach toys are available for the kids to play with.
At night, the entire family can watch the sunset from the balcony of your room. And in the morning, catch the sunrise before the kids get up.
COMO Parrot Cay
The family-friendly resort Como Parrot Cay can be found at the northern tip of the Caicos islands. This area is known for its white sand beaches.
Your family can choose to stay in a suite or private villa. I prefer the latter because it allows for more privacy during a family vacation.
Play by COMO Space is the Caicos kids club. All the kids will enjoy the activities at the club each day.
Adults can go snorkeling and diving while the kids are in camp. Although, if the kids are older, these may be family activities you can enjoy together. Swimming in the infinity pool is another activity everyone will love.
You may not want to share your time in the garden with anyone. Instead, it is the perfect place to soak in a hot tub or Japanese bath without interruptions.
Ambergris Cay Private Island
Sometimes, you need a private island to get away from it all during a family vacation. Thankfully, Ambergris Cay Private Island is waiting for you! If you’re looking for the Best Resorts in Turks and Caicos for Families, this might be the place for you!
Villas are available with 3 to 6 bedrooms. Although, you will be out exploring the 1,100 acres of the island and won’t be in your room too often.
Since this is an all-inclusive option in Turks and Caicos, you can easily stick to your vacation budget.
The entire family can go on scavenger hunts around the island. Although, the kids may know where everything is if they did the same thing at The Explorer’s Hut.
