If you’re considering staying at a Sandals Resort, you may wonder where are the Sandals Resorts locations. Well, as a honeymoon travel specialist, I am here to help!
Where are the sandals resorts located?
Sandals currently has 19 locations covering eight different countries, including the newest resorts Sandals Royal Curacao and Sandals Dunn’s River in Jamaica. The brand-new Sandals Saint Vincent is set to open in mid-2024.
This is not even mentioning Sandals’ family-friendly brand, Beaches Resorts! You can also check out the Beaches Resorts locations if you’re looking for a family vacation or destination wedding

- Sandals Royal Caribbean (Jamaica)
- Sandals Negril (Jamaica)
- Sandals Ochi (Jamaica)
- Sandals Montego Bay (Jamaica)

With resorts located on the best beaches in the Caribbean, Sandals Resorts are an obvious choice for anyone wanting an all-inclusive, adults-only, luxury-included vacation. Planning a honeymoon? Here are five reasons why Sandals are the best resorts for all-inclusive honeymoons
Before we get to the Sandals Resorts locations, let’s quickly go over some Sandals FAQ. Or, you can skip down and read the info about all of the Sandals Resort locations.
Is Sandals All-Inclusive?
Sandals Resorts are truly all-inclusive and include things that most all-inclusive resorts do not. Therefore, Sandals Resorts are considered “luxury included” and include:
Dining and drinks: Of course, all of your dining, as well as alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, are included. This includes fine dining along with a fully-stocked mini-fridge.
Luxury Transfers: All Sandals bookings include round-trip luxury transfers, so you do not have to worry about booking a separate transfer. Depending on your airport and accommodation type, some guests will also have access to an airport lounge and private BMW transfers.
Watersports: Sailing, snorkeling, waterskiing, and even scuba are included if you are certified! Sandals stand out for offering watersports (including motorized and non-motorized), whereas most all-inclusive resorts do not include these things.
By the way, you can even get PADI certified for Scuba during your Sandals vacation. Once certified, you can scuba for free. The cost as of the writing of this blog post is $450/per person.

Entertainment: Sports, activities, live entertainment, and even golf are included at select Sandals Resorts. You can learn more about golf at Sandals resorts if that interests you.
Gratuities, Taxes, Fees: Everything is truly included at Sandals Resorts. Sandals even has a “no tipping” policy. The one exception is the Butlers and Spa staff.
Is tipping allowed at Sandals Resorts?
Although it’s not mandatory, if you are staying in a Butler room or visiting the spa, you can choose to tip if you’d like (and I would recommend that you do!) Make sure to check out Everything You Need to Know About Tipping at Sandals Resorts to learn more.
What exactly is included depends on the resort, so it’s best to work with a Travel Advisor to make sure you know exactly what is included within your stay.
That said, Sandals Resorts includes things that most all-inclusive resorts do not. For example, a handful of Sandals Resorts even include golf!
Is Sandals Adults-only?
Sandals Resorts are 100% adults-only resorts for couples. However, if you want to bring your family, Beaches Resorts are a Sandals family brand where you’ll find the same exceptional service but with families in mind.
Sandals takes “adults-only” one step further and is a couples-only resort. This makes Sandals Resorts the perfect destination for a honeymoon.
Is there a Sandals Resort in the US?
No, all Sandals resorts are outside of the US and require a valid passport to visit.
Are there Sandals Resorts in Mexico?
As a honeymoon Travel Agent, I am asked this a lot! Unfortunately, the answer is no; there are no Sandals Resorts in Mexico. The closest Sandals Resorts to the U.S. are in the Bahamas and Jamaica.
You need a passport to travel to any of these locations, and depending on where you live, you may be able to get better flights to Jamaica or the Bahamas.
After you read this, make sure to check out what to pack for an all-inclusive vacation.
Are all Sandals Resorts open right now?
Yes! All Sandals Resorts are operational. With the exception, of course, of those that are being built. You can check current specials at all of the Sandals Resorts here.
Does Sandals Resorts offer a military discount?
Yes! Sandals Resorts offers a discount for military service personnel, police, and firefighters. Ask your Travel Agent (me!) how to get this discount.
Should I book Sandals with a Travel Agent?
Of course, you should book your stay at Sandals Resorts with a Travel Agent! Sandals Resorts regulates its pricing and offers a best-price guarantee, so booking will cost the same no matter where you choose to book.
However, working with a Travel Agent will ensure that you do not have to worry about anything along the way. If you need to make any changes, your Travel Agent can do it for you! I’m certified to book Sandals vacations, so contact me as the best time to book your Sandals vacation is ASAP.
You can also visit my Sandals website to check pricing, availability, and specials.

Great Exuma, Bahamas
Sandals Emerald Bay

Jamaica
If you have watched “The Office” you know that Michael and Jan visited “Sandals Jamaica.” Interestingly, there is no “Sandals Jamaica” with that name. However, not to worry, there are seven Sandals Resorts in Jamaica, including one opening in 2023.
The Sandals Resorts in Jamaica vary quite a bit, so check out the homepage for Jamaica resorts by Sandals to learn more. Or, you can check out my post that shares ALL the Sandals Resorts in Jamaica details.
Sandals Montego Bay
Sandals Montego Bay was the very first Sandals Resort or, as I like to call it, “The OG Sandals.” Known as the “Beachfront resort where the party never stops,” Montego Bay offers 12 restaurants, 6 bars, and seven pools and offers exchange privileges with the six other Sandals Resorts in Jamaica.
Prices start at $304/pp/night. You can check specials for Sandals Montego Bay along with a photo brochure here.
Sandals Royal Caribbean
I like to think that Michael Scott and Jan visited Sandals Royal Caribbean or “Jamaica’s Most Alluring Resort.” Technically, Royal Caribbean is the only Sandals Resort to sanction topless or nude sunbathing. I promise I’ll stop talking about The Office soon.
Did you even go to Sandals in Jamaica if you don’t re-create this photo?
A section of the offshore island is set apart for nude sunbathing, but it’s not very well known. So if clothing-optional sunbathing is not for you, don’t worry! You won’t find this part of the beach unless you’re looking for it.
In addition, Sandals Royal Caribbean is also one of the Sandals destinations to offer overwater bungalows. It also provides the aforementioned offshore island, nine restaurants, and exchange privileges with nearby Sandals Resorts.
Pricing at Sandals Royal Caribbean starts at $262/pp/night. You can check for specials at Sandals Royal Caribbean here. Don’t forget you can always contact me if you’d prefer to ease of working with a Travel Agent.
